Deep Fried Weddings
May 5th, 2009 by charleswsmithjr
This weekends wedding in Southern Mississippi was simply breathtaking. Given that I have have been influenced primarily by photographers in the deep South, returning there for weddings is comforting and exhilarating in ways that I can’t even explain. There’s just something about the people, the sounds, the food, and the charity that makes me hate leaving.
This weekends wedding was held in the countryside of Natchez, Mississippi. Friends Tiffiany and Bryan had one of the most beautiful weddings and locations I have ever shot. Plus, parents “cut a rug” like no other. What a blast!
It’s weddings like these that make you want to get married all over again.

These are gorgeous pictures. I can not wait to see the rest of them. You did a wonderful job and I know that Tiffiany and Bryan will be so excited about them.
If you get married again, will you marry Ashely?
As someone who has now left the comforts of the south as well, your comments make me long for home. Beautifully said. And beautifully photographed, too.
