It’s Just Money, Right?

Today started and ended with a bang. In Alabama for a wedding, I woke up this morning and prepared myself for a day or worship and four different portrait sessions. My first session started at 10:30. As I was preparing my gear in the trunk of my car I heard a loud “thud”. Turning to look, I saw my new camera on the ground, broken. Bang one.
After cancelling the rest of my appointments for the day I went home and studied/edited pictures. After a few hours my family and I went to see Mercy Me in Concert. Simply amazing. Here is a shot I snagged w/ my phone:
Despite my $1000 drop this morning, the pictures turned out great! Sarah, Will, and their two beautiful kids are always a pleasure to shoot. And plus, their cousins! Although Will is a amazing accountant, he’s really more of a Wanglers guy and we tried to represent that today. I am thrilled with how they turned out.
